The first section has you dealing with cannons and volcanoes erupting in the background. After that comes some lava platforming. One misstep and you lose a life. After that is a miniboss of sorts where you have a countdown and must defeat a certain amount of the enemies that spawn. After that, the stage is pretty straightforward with one more lava platforming stage, then comes the boss. But, like a lot of the bosses in this series, he falls quickly from the triple slash, so use it.
