EPF Withdrawal Rules 2026: Form 121 Replaces Forms 15G and 15H for TDS Exemption | News18 J&K

New tax rules for FY 2026–27 introduce Form 121 in place of Forms 15G and 15H for eligible taxpayers seeking relief from TDS on EPF withdrawals. The declaration allows individuals to state that their estimated tax liability is nil, subject to the applicable conditions. However, submitting Form 121 does not automatically make an EPF withdrawal tax-free. Tax treatment depends on factors such as the length of service, withdrawal amount, total income and applicable rules. Employees should also ensure that their PAN details are correct and check their eligibility before submitting the form. #EPF #EPFO #PFWithdrawal #Form121 #IncomeTax #TDS #PFRules | News18 J&K #KashmirNews #JammuNews Find the Latest News, Top Headlines, and Breaking news.
