Rust and Revelry

Industrial sludge-metal meets a midnight street fight, Think doo-pop, heavy, grinding riffs that suddenly open up into soaring, melodic hook that sounds like a fist punching through a cloud, The drums are huge, crashing, organic, The vocals are hers, low, sultry, but when the chorus hits, she's got a roar in her throat that could peel paint #aimusic #new #music #metal #sludgemetal #bluesmetal The sky’s a bruised purple, the street’s a vein Something’s pulsing underneath the rain Your shadow’s got a rhythm, my static’s got a beat Two glitches in the system, meeting in the heat The blueprints are melting, the script’s in the trash Everything they promised just turned into ash And the noise is a mountain And the noise is a door... CRASH THROUGH THE STATIC, BREAK THE CODE Find the place where the signals explode It’s a riot of two, in a city of none The noise is the signal, the signal’s begun Yeah, the void’s got a heartbeat And it’s beating right here. You brought the lightning, I brought the wire Two sparks in a puddle starting a fire They said "stay quiet," they said "know your place" But I know the look on your face When the riff hits the gap, when the snare hits the bone You’re a frequency, baby, and I’m dialed in home. Let the ruins shake. Let the old gods wake up blinking. If the world’s a machine... Then we’re the ghost in the gear. CRASH THROUGH THE STATIC, BREAK THE CODE Find the place where the signals explode It’s a riot of two, in a city of none The noise is the signal, the signal’s begun Rust and revelry. Static and skin. The door’s open. Come in.
