EvenFlow Feedwell by WesTech Engineering Inc. This video of an EvenFlo Feedwell in operation on a clarifier treating effluents at Goro Nickel in New caledonia. The EvenFlo is comprised of two tanks. The inner tank dissipates the energy of the liquors entering the clarifier/thickener and promotes deaeration, before distributing it evenly in a radial flow direction into the outer feedwell which is the floculent mixing, dilution and primary settling zone. Gentle, homogenisation and efficient mixing promote excellent particle aglomeration and rapid homogenous settling, which results in an even bed in the base of the thickener/Clarifier as well as a totally still annular quiescent zone between the feedwell and the overflow weirs. EvenFlo technology is producing superior results in all types of sedimentation vessels, including clarifiers, HiRate Thickners, Hi Density Thickeners and Paste thickeners.
