Auburn, NY Historic & Cultural Sites Commission 2026 State of the Sites

Auburn, NY's Historic & Cultural Sites Commission's is reinstating its State of the Sites program. City residents, business owners, elected officials, and other members of the public are invited to learn more about the impact of these sites and their historic, cultural, and tourism value. Speakers include: Mayor Jimmy Giannettino Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad NY Scenic Byway Executive Director Ally Spongr-Degon Commission Chair Sydney Fischer, NYS Senator Rachel May Tour Cayuga Executive Director Courtney Kasper Participating organizations include the ‪@sewardhousemuseum‬, ‪@equalrightsheritage‬, ‪@cayugamuseum8566‬, ‪@SchweinfurthArtCenter‬, ‪@AuburnPublicTheater‬, Willard Memorial Chapel, ‪@seymour_library‬, the Harriet Tubman Home, Inc., Harriet Tubman National Historical Park, Fort Hill Cemetery, and more. The 2026 State of the Sites took place at on October 15, at the Cayuga Museum's Carriage House Theater.
