1984? Montgomery Hydraulic Elevator @ Hotel Ottumwa, Ottumwa, IA

Filmed on: 8/6/26 Here's a pretty neat older Montgomery Elevator with the circle buttons at Hotel Ottumwa in Ottumwa, IA (obviously). This thing runs pretty decent despite the annoying cab ceiling noises when it moves once again. Also, this is considered a "HIGHdraulic" since it's a hydraulic serving 6 floors instead of traction which is quite rare. I'm not too sure what year this elevator was installed. It's possible this elevator was at one point manually-controlled since the hotel was built around 1917.
