Are Your Fixtures Outdated? 5 Game-Changing PLASA London Trends

In this video, we break down the 5 major lighting trends live from PLASA London 2026 at Olympia London! From massive LED upgrades to hybrid strobes and high-speed mirror fx, here is where stage and event technology is heading. Trends & Fixtures Featured: Next-Gen Fog FX (RIP CO2?): Advanced fog and haze systems taking over classic CO2 jets, delivering massive output at a fraction of the cost, with easier fluid logistics and far more flexibility like the Showven Sonic Boom Blaster or Dj Powers H-K1 Pro Auto Smoke Ring Machine. Multi-Layer Fixtures & Hybrid Strobes: Dual-function devices in a single chassis, including the BeamZ Nuke 4 (pixel FX + beam LEDs) and the Prolights Halu Series (beam LEDs + pixel FX). XXL LED Blinders: High-output 300W+ LED blinders replacing traditional tungsten punch with lower power draw and intense strobe capabilities like the Chauvet Professional Strike Array Ultra Mirror FX & Scanner Comeback: Classic mirrorball dynamics paired with tight moving-head beams, alongside the return of instant deflection scanner speeds like the DTS V-SNAP CS. Battery & Modular Lights for Mobile Gear: Ultra-portable, cable-free setups designed for fast deployment in mobile DJ and corporate setups, featuring fixtures like GLP Nexus Lights.
