This album depicts the process of faith becoming an empire, and an empire turning into madness. Beginning with the declaration of an astrologer who believes he conveys the voice of God, the ritual gradually becomes a system, and that system reaches a stage where it demands human sacrifice to sustain itself. This story departs from a place of salvation, but ultimately completes a narrative where power and fear consume religion. The setting of this story is an empire in the distant past or far future. This empire exists within a colossal citadel drifting through space. However, even its immense size is mere dust within the vastness of space. Thus, despite their advanced technological systems, the people of this empire still needed the existence of a god, and astrologers who interpret the stars and prophecies rule the empire with absolute power. The people believe their words are the will of God. When prophecies come true, disasters cease, and the skies fall quiet, doubt becomes a luxury. This empire is built upon the belief that "God is with us."
