I haven’t done a proper grocery run in nearly two weeks, so there are quite a few things I need to buy—from rice, vegetables, yogurt, coffee, and household supplies to a few treats for my family. Throughout the video, I’ll show you the prices in both Vietnamese dong and US dollars, so you can see how much everyday groceries cost in Hanoi. My total bill came to 750,000 VND, which is about $28.50. I also stopped by a small local grocery store to look for Miliket instant noodles, the kind my mom likes. They didn’t have a full box available, so I’ll have to come back tomorrow. My fridge is finally full again, and in the next video, I’ll be cooking with some of these ingredients.
