After trying for over an hour, I had to give in and max upgraded all my attack roles. You will also need a lot of luck to ensure that Lita doesn't turn aniimo against you. E.g., swapped to Healer when you put a seed on that Rat, or to Ice Wolf and attack instantly when you get close to Healer by Mantis, and so on. And, make sure your controller is working by smashing X and RB, 'cause the game will ignore your holding input sometimes.
