This helicopter became re-registered in Germany to Heli Flight GmbH & Co. KG and has been operated by Johanniter Luftrettung as D-HJLC with Mode-S Hex: 3DEB84 since January 2025. https://www.heli-flight.de Heli-Flight started to serve in cooperation with Johanniter Air Rescue to operate several intensive care transport helicopters since 2011. These helicopters are fully equipped to fly secondary and primary missions, day and night. The main task of the air rescue with Heli-Flight and Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe e.V. is to transport intensive care patients who have to be transferred from clinic to clinic while the therapy continues unchanged. This task not only requires specially trained personnel, but also special medical-technical equipment and selected locations. The equipment and crews of the Johanniter Luftrettung fulfill the high-performance medicine required today. If necessary, the helicopters can also be used as rescue in the event of traffic accidents, work accidents or neurological diseases - 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. The specialization of the hospitals requires more and more patient transport due to the hospital reform in Germany and the increasing specialization of the hospitals, the number of patient transports under intensive medical care are increasing steadily. This includes transfers from hospitals providing basic and standard care to other hospitals with highest level of care, as well as the transfer of patients with special medical technology or special treatment methods. The increasing number of hospital networks and the reduction of German hospitals and the length of patients stays, also increase the need for doctor-accompanied patient transport. However, the classic rescue service is not responsible for internal patient transport. In these cases, the Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe e.V. is available as a reliable partner with ground and air transport options. The time factor plays a major role in these cases, as does transport that is as gentle as possible. Air transport is a very efficient means of transporting patients between hospitals due to its time saving. Thank you for watching. Email: htdi.frank@gmail.com It is my aim to prepare a historical data sheet of any helicopters ever produced since 1946 till today, except for home builds and microlights. It includes the manufacturer's construction / serial number (MSN), current and past registration, type and upgrades of version, year of construction, current location, country, owner/operator, and operator's address/ contact details when wanted. To make this database comprehensive, I am always on the lookout for more helicopter enthusiasts worldwide hew will let me display their helicopter photographs including their names for copyright no matter of quality. In exchange for helicopter photographs, the photographer gets access to my helicopter database which contains more than 107.000 different helicopters. If interested, please send me an email.
