MALERWEG DAY 6 🇩🇪 | From Schmilka to Gohrisch – Steep Climbs, Charming Villages

We started the morning in our cozy little hotel in Schmilka, right on the Czech border, ready for another day on the beautiful Malerweg trail! 🏞️ Our adventure began with a boat ride across the Elbe River, followed by a serious uphill climb through the stunning landscapes of Saxon Switzerland. Along the way, we passed through charming little villages before tackling another tough ascent towards a lovely mountain hut — the perfect spot to catch our breath and enjoy the views! ⛰️ After a rewarding descent, we decided to take the bus for the final stretch of the day. Sometimes, a little shortcut is exactly what you need! 😄
