Marvel’s Wolverine Part 14: It’s Over, Nathaniel Essex!

Regardless of what everyone else is saying, my honest opinion is..... I feel like some people are exaggerating their criticism of the game. The one thing I can agree with is that the game can feel pretty easy at times. The first boss, however, was extremely difficult for me. I struggled so much that I had to lower the difficulty all the way to Super Easy just to get through the fight. After that, though, the rest of the bosses have felt much more manageable, and I’ve been able to keep the difficulty on Sort of Difficult. There are also a few bugs and issues here and there, including the frustrating inability to switch your suit whenever you want. That was disappointing and definitely affected my overall experience. That been said, I think the game does a lot of things really well. The graphics look fantastic, the storytelling has been very engaging, and the overall presentation is impressive. I personally didn’t love the ending, but that’s simply my opinion. I also think some of the criticism comes from people forgetting one important thing: this is an X-Men story set in a different universe. To me, it feels like its own interpretation of the characters and their story. Not every universe is going to be the same, and I don’t think a game should automatically receive a lower rating simply because it doesn’t match another version of the X-Men. So for me, great graphics, strong storytelling, and overall experience outweigh the issues I had with it, which is why I’m giving Marvel’s Wolverine an 8/10.
