Pyrenees 2026 The first day of our advanture. I flew directly to Barcelona, where Javi picked me up. We drove to the Barraves Valley. From there, we set off for the expedition's first peak over 3,000 meters—Tuca de Vallibierna (3,059 m a.s.l.). A beautiful, wild area offering a trek with significant exposure; near the summit, we traverse a stunning ridge. Between the peaks lies the well-known Paso del Caballo pass, offering an interesting traverse along a rocky ridge. We reach the second 3,000-meter peak—Tuca de Culebres (3,053 m a.s.l.). Now, all that remains is a long descent over shifting stones, with stunning views of the entire valley and the surrounding mountains. A wonderful and successful first day. The second day of our advanture. We got up at 4 a.m., had breakfast, and headed for the 5 a.m. bus. The bus took us to Puente Coronas. We brought crampons and an ice axe with us, as the route crosses a section of a glacier. We began the trek up the mountain while it was still dark. A beautiful, wild area offering a trek with significant exposure; near the summit, we traverse a stunning ridge. Before the peak lies the well-known Puente de Mahoma pass, offering an interesting rocky ridge with elements of climbing. W reach the highest pick of pyrenees Pico de Aneto (3,404 m a.s.l.). Now, all that remains is a long descent over shifting stones, with stunning views of the entire valley and the surrounding mountains. A wonderful and successful second day. The third day of our advanture. Via ferrata day. We first went to Via Ferrata Crroqueta de Obarra rated K4. Quite long ferrata that takes usually around 2 hours, full of climbing and exposure. We had a lot of fun, wasn't easy but also since we enjoy climbing, it fits us perfectly. After that we need a brake and a lunch. Next we went to Via Ferrata El escuacho also rated K4. Actually here is a bit more logistic, its a double loop - first K3 then K4. Ferrata surrounds gorge and river. Great views! A wonderful and successful third day. The fourth day of our adventure. Climbing day. We first went to Panticosa, parked there and start hiking. After around hour and the half we reach the place where our wall and route starts. Name Espolón del pino is because of characteristic pine tree in the middle. We had 8 pitches to do - hardest was 5b. We actually expected to be harder but it is a very nice multipitch that could be consider as easy. All stations are good. At the top there is a shelter where we had a lunch and rest. A wonderful and successful fourth day. The fifth and sixth day of our advanture. We got up and drive to Ordesa. Over there, we caught a bus that took us to the valley. From there we started very pretty hike thru Faja de las Flores to Refugio de Goriz. We had a booked spot reserved for our tent. We got up at 4 and began the climb under a starry sky. A beautiful, wild area offering a trek with significant exposure and a few moments of proper climbing. Near the summit there was a tricky area full of shifting stones. We reach the 3rd highest pick of pyrenees Monte Perdido (3,355 m a.s.l.). Now, all that remains is a long descent with stunning views of the entire valley and the surrounding mountains. A wonderful and successful fifth and sixth day. The seventh day of our advanture. This is the last day of this trip. I had a flight home at the evening. Plan for the day was to do Cañón de Añisclo. Before we started treck there was an awesome road for the car to canon - one way street. Hike had plenty of view point, many beautiful waterfalls and great scenic views. We went to the waterfall La Ripareta and back. A wonderful and successful seventh day.
