Chris Pollitt's Brumby Channel Episode 5: Filming at the Waterhole

This is for the true horse lover. Someone who is happy to sit at a waterhole where nothing much happens for hours and suddenly a band of brumbies arrives to quench their thirst. First one band, then another and even a third. Surronded by brumbies, listen and watch as band members jostle for position at the water's edge. The stallions watch over their mares and challenge each other in testosterone-fuelled, ritual displays of aggression. The overriding element in this video is water; without it there can be no brumbies. The brumbies are away from water for 2-3 days trekking long distances to find grass to eat. They have to return to the water or die. We are at the water's edge, invisble to the horses, filming their natural behaviour. A unique experience for me to share and you to enjoy.
