Turn a Cookie Cutter into a Custom Clay Tool

In this short pottery tutorial, I show how I reshape a simple metal cookie cutter into a custom maple-leaf cutter. I use it to cut a series of small clay leaves, then attach them one by one to an oval bonsai pot to create a layered design inspired by leaves blowing in the wind. With a pair of pliers and a little imagination, ordinary cookie cutters can be turned into custom tools for creating your own pottery decorations.
