RIFF DAWNS with the bhajans of brothers Barkat and Jalal Khan Manganiyar Location: Jaswant Thada (outside Mehrangarh Fort), Jodhpur Brothers Jalal Khan Manganiyar and Barkat Khan Manganiyar have grown up singing for their families patrons, all of whom come from the communities of Paliwal Brahmins. Like their bond as brothers, the synergy in their musicianship is equally endearing as they sing their spiritual songs. Jalal Khan also plays the Tandura. Their repertoire includes 'Ramdevji ki Sayan' and bhajans of the local saint 'Bannanath'. The sound of the Jhaanjh, played by Mangu Khan, accompanies their performance at RIFF
