Our Hellish Experience with Race to Exalted: Medusa

With Race to Exalted being put on hiatus, I figured I'd share my experience participating in Medusa's Race to Exalted. For extra context, I played for roughly 20 hours over the course of two days, played mostly Arena, aside from some games of Bot Conquest to break up the monotony. As for how I feel about Race to Exalted, I think it's honestly a great event, and while I prolly won't do it for the rest of the gods that I play, I'm glad that I was able to get top 100 for the god that I enjoy most. Some tips for the race: 1. Play in a duo queue or greater and either grind out Arena, or play Joust in a three stack if you can confidently win every game. 2. Unpin every single god from your pins except for the one you're grinding, and if you're not guaranteed to get the god, then have everyone in your stack have that god as their only pin too, and have them hover the god. 3. At least one of y'all will need someone with a bunch of Legacy Gems... x2 Worshipper Boosters ain't worth spending Diamonds on. 4. Set your expectations accordingly. If you want to just complete the challenge, then you can spend the whole week playing, but if you're looking to place well, then you have only about the first two or three days to finish.
