Keep Pensacola Beautiful

Keep Pensacola Beautiful presents an overview of its organization, mission, history, and community programs at the September 24, 2026 monthly meeting of the Francis M. Weston Audubon Society (FMWAS). Serving Escambia County for more than 45 years, Keep Pensacola Beautiful works with community partners to educate and advocate while implementing programs that improve the environmental quality and beauty of the community for current and future generations. Its core values include environmental stewardship, collaboration, environmental education, respect, and responsibility. The organization traces its roots to a group of concerned citizens who came together in 1978. It incorporated as Clean & Green in 1979, became affiliated with Keep America Beautiful in 1995, and adopted the Keep Pensacola Beautiful name in 2012. This presentation provides an opportunity to learn more about Keep Pensacola Beautiful, its community programs and partnerships, and ways individuals can become involved in caring for our local environment.
