AU Explanation: Almost everything plays out as it does in the canon, but there are changes to the relationships between Chuuya and Dazai, Chuuya and Mori, and Chuuya and Rimbaud. First, Soukoku. They met just as they did in the anime/manga, but they developed romantic feelings for one another. Dazai realized his feelings first at age 15, while Chuuya’s feelings developed more fully when he was 17/18. Their relationship was an on-again, off-again affair from the start; arguments arose as early as age 16, when they began exploring their feelings. At 17, they were constantly breaking up and getting back together. This pattern continued until they were 18, when Dazai vanished and left the Mafia without a trace. And no, he didn't tell Chuuya, leading the redhead to believe the dark-haired man was dead. This lasted for two years, until Dazai allowed himself to be found. Over the next two years, Chuuya was hesitant to take Dazai back, making this the most challenging and tense period of their relationship. It wasn't until they were 22 that they finally gave in and decided to rekindle their relationship, reasoning that they were more mature by then. Now, regarding Chuuya and Mori: the change I made is that, shortly after Dazai left the Mafia, Mori placed more stock in Chuuya's strength and essentially took him on as a sort of "student." However, this dynamic was certainly less toxic than Mori's tactics with Dazai, largely because Chuuya possessed tremendous mental strength. You could say they share a certain closeness, though not the same kind as Chuuya and Kouyou (who view each other as siblings). Finally, Rimbaud and Chuuya. In the canon, their interaction is minimal. In this AU, I wanted to foster a greater sense of intimacy between them—as if, from the moment Chuuya met Rimbaud at age 15, they had kept talking to one another right up until the point where Rimbaud had to be killed for the greater good (the Arahabaki conflict still occurs here, but Chuuya feels deeply betrayed). That is why there are songs Chuuya creates from the perspective of Rimbaud or Verlaine regarding their relationship (Rimlaine mentioned 🙏). - Explicação da AU: Quase tudo ocorre igual o canon, mas há alterações no relacionamento de Chuuya e Dazai; Chuuya com Mori; e Chuuya com Rimbaud. O namoro deles desde o começo foi de idas e vindas, porque desde aos 16 quando eles começaram a explorar seus sentimentos, já havia brigas. Aos 17, eles terminavam e voltavam o tempo inteiro. Isso durou até aos 18, quando Dazai sumiu e saiu da Máfia sem deixar rastros. E não, ele não avisou Chuuya, por isso, o ruivo pensou que o moreno estava morto. Isso durante 2 anos, até que Dazai se permitiu ser encontrado. Nos próximos 2 anos, Chuuya ficou hesitante em aceitar Dazai de volta, por isso, foi o período mais desafiador e tenso da relação deles. Somente aos 22 anos, eles finalmente cederam e decidiram reatar o relacionamento, com a justificativa que estavam mais maduros para isso. Agora, Chuuya e Mori. A alteração que eu fiz foi que logo depois de Dazai sair da Máfia, Mori apostou mais na força de Chuuya e meio que o tomou como um tipo de "aluno". Só que isso certamente foi menos tóxico que as táticas de Mori com Dazai, principalmente porque a força mental de Chuuya era tremenda. Pode considerar que eles têm uma proximidade, mas não como Chuuya e Kouyou (que vêem um ao outro como irmãos). Por fim, Rimbaud e Chuuya. No canon, a interação deles é mínima. Já nessa AU eu quis trazer mais intimidade entre eles, como se desde que Chuuya encontrou Rimbaud aos 15 anos, eles conversaram um com outro até que Rimbaud teve que ser morto para um bem maior (nesse caso, o conflito de Arahabaki ainda acontece aqui, mas Chuuya se sente bem traído).
