This Is NOT How I Expected My Day to Go | Roadbook Rally Disaster

What started as a simple challenge quickly turned into one of the toughest recoveries I've had on the BMW R 1300 GS. For this roadbook rally, I gave Mihkel and Kristjan a 15 minute head start, confident I'd be able to catch them before the finish. After they missed a turn, I found myself out in front until a fallen tree blocked the trail. Instead of turning back, I spotted what looked like a small bog beside the tree and decided to go around it... That decision turned into a 20 minute battle to drag a fully loaded adventure bike through deep mud, testing both my patience and my strength. Sometimes the shortest route ends up being the longest.
