At 16 years old, I’m honored to share my performance of The Drunken Beauty (贵妃醉酒), one of the most iconic pieces of the Mei School (梅派) tradition in Peking Opera. This piece portrays Yang Guifei, one of the most renowned figures in Chinese history, through the distinctive elegance, grace, and expressive artistry of the Mei School tradition. This performance is part of my ongoing journey of learning and exploring the art of Peking Opera.
