The Allfather’s Call is the debut album from RÚNVEIG — nine songs for the Nine Worlds, born from Norse faith, history, memory and the old stories that still speak to us today. Across the album, RÚNVEIG journeys through Yggdrasil, stands within the shield wall, follows Sköll across the heavens, asks the gods for strength, explores Odin’s sacrifice for wisdom, and gives new voice to words carried across more than a thousand years. But this album is not only about warriors and gods. It is about remembrance. Its final voyage, “No Valhalla Beneath a Saxon Sky,” is dedicated to the forgotten Scandinavian men discovered at Ridgeway Hill in Dorset.
