Valse Lente, Sylvia Suite, Léo Delibes

"Sylvia" is a well-known ballet by Léo Delibes. The music from the ballet has been transformed into a Suite (also by Delibes). From this suite Professor P plays "Valse Lente" in arrangement for accordion quintet (plus optional triangle) by Paul De Bra. This arrangement is in itself not difficult to play, but because it is written in D flat major (with 5 flats) many players will still find it difficult. The highest note in this piece (high D flat) is also not available on all accordions. Therefore a transposed version (down to C major) is also available, all from https://www.de-bra.nl/arrangements.ht... as well as from imslp.org and novam.net. Enjoy!
