Last ALTON AFTER DARK 2026 & Bluey The Ride OPENING DAY Join Tom and I for the opening day of Bluey The Ride at the Alton Towers Resort. This day was also the last Alton After Dark of the 2026 season! It was quite busy on park and the staggered opening times are really affecting ride capacity during the first part of the day. We were lucky enough to secure a good place in the queue; there was a fantastic atmosphere in Cbeebies Land and everyone was excited for the new junior coaster. It was great to meet Howard and chat about our ride experience. We spent the rest of the day dodging hail showers and riding as many coasters as we could. Queues were long but we expected this due to the opening of the new coaster. It was great to see Oblivion back up and running following some comedy rumours of collapsed track! We were pleased to meet some of our favourite theme park content creators and chat with Ben (from Ben and Hollies Theme Park Adventures) and CoasterTog.
