Ate Irish Made FILIPINO VEGETABLE SOUP — Sinabawang Gulay, Utam, Law-oy, Laswa, Dinengdeng! 10/10!

Today, our house helper Irish cooked us a Filipino vegetable soup called Laswa (Law-oy), a traditional dish from Iloilo (Ilonggo cuisine). 🥬🍲 We had heard about Laswa before, but we had never tried it in a café or restaurant and had never cooked it at home. So we were really curious to finally taste it - and WOW! We absolutely loved it! 😍 Law-oy is such a simple-looking soup, but the rich, natural flavor of all the vegetables makes it incredibly delicious. And one of my favorite things is seeing my children happily eating so many vegetables! ❤️ Healthy food can be simple, nutritious and genuinely delicious. Irish also prepared homemade Filipino-style fried chicken 🍗. My kids absolutely LOVE fried chicken! But buying fried chicken from street food places isn’t something I want them eating every day, so having Irish prepare it at home using good-quality cooking oil felt like a much better everyday option. And it turned out SO delicious! We were honestly in love with this meal! 🇵🇭❤️ And there’s another special part of today’s video: my children are preparing a special gift for their Filipino school teachers for Teachers’ Day 🎁📚.
