Step inside Casa Batlló, one of Antoni Gaudí’s most extraordinary masterpieces in the heart of Barcelona, Spain. In this 13-minute walking tour, I take you inside this incredible modernist house and show you its unique architecture, beautiful interiors, fascinating details and unforgettable atmosphere. Casa Batlló was originally built in 1877 as a residential building. In 1903, the textile industrialist Josep Batlló bought the building and commissioned Antoni Gaudí to transform it. Instead of demolishing the house, Gaudí completely redesigned it between 1904 and 1906, creating the extraordinary façade, interiors, courtyards and rooftop that we can admire today. The building is famous for its organic shapes, colourful ceramics, curved lines, unusual windows and decorative details inspired by nature. Its spectacular rooftop and chimneys are among the most recognizable elements of Gaudí’s architecture. Casa Batlló is also part of the “Works of Antoni Gaudí” UNESCO World Heritage Site, recognized for Gaudí’s exceptional contribution to architecture and modernism. One of the most interesting things about visiting Casa Batlló today is how much has been created for visitors. The house combines its historic architecture with modern technology, exhibitions, interactive experiences and multimedia elements that help visitors discover the story and details of Gaudí’s work. The official Gaudí App also offers audio guides, videos, augmented reality and interactive experiences. There is also a beautiful Casa Batlló gift shop, where visitors can find a carefully selected collection of souvenirs, gifts and products inspired by Gaudí, Casa Batlló and Barcelona. It is a great place to find something special to remember the visit. Watch the video to discover the beauty of Casa Batlló from the inside and experience one of Barcelona’s most fascinating architectural treasures. 📍 Casa Batlló Passeig de Gràcia 43, Barcelona, Spain 🎨 Architect: Antoni Gaudí 🏛️ UNESCO World Heritage Site If you enjoyed this video, please like, subscribe and explore more walking tours and Gaudí landmarks in Barcelona and Spain. #CasaBatllo #Gaudi #AntoniGaudi #Barcelona #BarcelonaSpain #GaudiBarcelona #CasaBatlloBarcelona #Modernisme #CatalanModernism #UNESCO #BarcelonaTravel #SpainTravel #BarcelonaWalkingTour #GaudiArchitecture #barcelonatourism
