IMPORTANT INFORMATION - READ THIS FIRST:
THIS PROJECT CANNOT START OR FUNCTION WITHOUT A COMPLETE AND VALID INSTALLATION OF THE ORIGINAL STAR TREK: BRIDGE COMMANDER GAME. This is a technical dependency, not merely an ownership requirement. You must legally obtain and install the original game separately; it is not included.
BCUE - Bridge Commander Utopia Enhancement
An independent, non-commercial compatibility and modernization project for Star Trek: Bridge Commander.
BCUE will not distribute any assets or files from the original game, including models, textures, audio, scripts, compiled bytecode, executables or other original game binaries.
MARC BELL MODEL AVAILABILITY:
Marc Bell ship models shown in this recording or its loading artwork are NOT included in or redistributed with BCUE and will NOT be made available for download through this project. All rights remain with their respective rights holders.
Remastered mod support and the Mod Manager, followed by a full 50-versus-50 Quick Battle stress test: 50 ships on each side, 100 ships in the battle setup.
This development recording shows the menus and battle setup, loading, bridge and exterior views, and a large fleet engagement with phaser fire, torpedoes, shields and explosions.
Recorded on October 6, 2026 at 2560 x 1440 / 60 FPS with stereo audio. This describes the recording format, not a claim of a constant in-game frame rate. Performance depends on hardware, settings, models and mods. The footage is a development demonstration, not a controlled hardware benchmark. The recording is retained in full, with a two-second product information screen added at the beginning. No other editing was done to this Video other than that.
Compatibility varies by mod. Mod support, visuals and performance continue to evolve. This video demonstrates the content and setup shown; it is not a promise that every legacy mod is supported.
