Every Dia de Muertos (Day of the Dead), when the veil between worlds opens, a father and his son reunite as night falls. In that brief moment when the living and the dead can meet each other’s gaze, they speak of what was left unsaid, what still hurts, and what endures. Beneath the glow of candles and the scent of marigolds, they discover… “There is no death where there is memory.”
