The History of Birnam An audio recording from 1975 This audio recording is taken from Archive Tape 1998.0254 and is account of Birnam's history recorded by a young man named Andrew Gillies(?) in 1975. It seems that the recording was made as an entry for the Architectural Heritage Year Competition. The tape appears to have been made on behalf of the St Mary’s Church Group, Birnam. Interviewees are Mrs Gillies and Mr Laird and they share their recollections of the history of Birnam and the railway. This recording is audio only and has no video content. (Duration: 20 minutes)
