Our ENTIRE Team Was ILLEGAL for the 7th Gym?! | Pokemon HeartGold Egglocke | PART 7

Welcome back to Part 7 of our Pokemon HeartGold Egglocke! Today we resume our adventure in Mahogany Town, ready to challenge Gym Leader Pryce and attempt to earn our 7th Johto Gym Badge. But before we can even step inside the Mahogany Town Gym, we run into our biggest rules-related problem of the entire playthrough! ➡️ Watch the full Pokemon HeartGold Egglocke playlist here:    • Pokemon HeartGold Egglocke | Community Pok...   Throughout this Pokemon HeartGold Egglocke, we have been honoring the level caps of each Gym Leader, making sure our Pokemon do not exceed the level of their strongest Pokemon before each Gym battle. After defeating Jasmine in Olivine City, we believed our team was perfectly prepared to continue toward the 7th Gym. Unfortunately, we missed one very important detail. Jasmine's ace Pokemon, Steelix, is level 35, meaning our level cap for the 6th Gym allowed us to train our Pokemon all the way to level 35. But when we arrive in Mahogany Town and prepare to challenge Pryce, we discover that his ace Pokemon, Piloswine, is only level 34! That means our entire team from the previous episode is now ineligible to participate in the 7th Gym battle. Thankfully, this is an Egglocke, and thanks to all of the amazing Pokemon submitted by the community, we have a huge collection of powerful mystery eggs waiting for us in the PC. We decide to debut SIX BRAND-NEW Pokemon for this episode and begin training an entirely new squad for our battle against Pryce. But with the Nuzlocke rules still in effect, this is not going to be easy. If one of our Pokemon faints, it is considered dead and can no longer be used for the remainder of the challenge. With a brand-new team and an unfamiliar group of Pokemon, the 7th Gym presents our first real opportunity to potentially lose one of our team members. Leading the new squad is a Steel-type Wormadam, and after training our six new Pokemon up to the appropriate level cap, we finally enter the Ice-type Mahogany Town Gym to face Gym Leader Pryce. The battle is tough, but our Steel/Bug Wormadam proves to be even tougher. We survive the challenge, defeat Pryce, and officially earn the Glacier Badge, giving us our 7th Gym Badge in this Pokemon HeartGold journey! But the adventure does not stop there. After defeating Pryce, we return to Goldenrod City to deal with Team Rocket once again. Team Rocket has taken control of the Radio Tower, and we need to fight our way through their many Grunts and Executives to stop their takeover. Our journey through the Radio Tower eventually brings us face-to-face with Rocket Executive Archer, who has assumed control of Team Rocket during Giovanni's absence. After defeating Archer, we finally put an end to Team Rocket's latest scheme and restore the Radio Tower to normal. With Team Rocket out of the way, we fly back to Mahogany Town and begin heading east toward our next major destination: Blackthorn City, home of the 8th and final Gym in Johto. To reach Blackthorn City, we must travel through the infamous Ice Path, a frozen cave filled with icy terrain, puzzles, and plenty of challenges. While making our way through the Ice Path, we also discover HM07 Waterfall, an important move that we will need to continue exploring the Johto region. After making it through the Ice Path, we finally arrive in Blackthorn City and come face-to-face with our final Johto Gym challenge. Now we save our progress and prepare for the biggest Gym battle of the journey so far. When we return for Part 8, it will be time to challenge Clair, the Dragon-type Gym Leader, and attempt to earn the final Gym Badge in Pokemon HeartGold! 🎮 Game: Pokemon HeartGold 🥚 Challenge: Egglocke / Nuzlocke 🌎 Region: Johto 🏆 Goal: Become Champion & defeat Red on Mt.
