"Binns Clock" Chimes Again

An Edinburgh icon has been restored as part of the Johnnie Walker Experience building work in Princes Street. A traditional place for couples to meet before a night out was under the "Binns Clock" on the corner of Binns Department Store. The Pipers March and the Chimes Chime again at 7 minutes past (Scotland the Brave) and 37 minutes past (Caller Herrin) the hour. Not sure why the timing, perhaps if you were still standing there when the band played you'd been stood up
