Burrs Country Park caravan & Motorhome Club Site in Bury, Lancashire. An urban site with the bonus of being set in a country park location. The east Lancashire Railway runs by the park , with a station and CAMC members enjoy 2 for 1 prices on ticket prices. A nice pub just on site doorstep. Just 1.5 mikes from the world famous market it’s a great place to enjoy nature, visit the town centre & market , take a ride on a steam train or a tipple or meal in the pub just on the sites doorstep. The river Irwell runs through the park and there are some lovely walks. I believe at peak season access can be an issue as the road leading up to the site is narrow - so arriving before 1pm Is not advised.
