What is Oriental Empires - An Overview / Review

Oriental Empires is a turn based strategy game that is often compared to a blend between Civilization and Total War. In reality, the game is similar to Civilization, with key differences that give it further depth in unit management and movement. Turns are executed at the same time, often leading to interesting engagements and military situations, while the cultural focus on China and Mongolia provides an interesting and focused backdrop. While the game doesn't try to be historically accurate, it's great for anybody interested in a game steeped in the culture Please note, I was gifted a copy of the game by the developers, however, my opinion is completely unbiased by this fact.
