Dependent Day Cruise on CVN-71 (July 29, 1988)

USS Theodore Roosevelt CVN-71 July 29, 1988 Naval Station Norfolk (https://www.navsea.navy.mil/Home/Ship...) Recorded by an old VCR camera (one that held a standard VCR tape), then recorded on to a DVD using a DVD recorder. Then finally converted to MP4 using Handbrake enabling the upload to YouTube. For much of the recording done among the crowd, I am holding my camera over my head with the viewfinder pointing down so the video is not as smooth as I would have liked. And of course being on a moving ship did not help either. Also there was a heavy mist on the ocean when I was recording from the side of the ship so tracking the action from a distance was quite the challenge. I uploaded the airshow part of this video years ago, but the equipment I was using broke up the videos into several sections that I grouped together in a playlist.
