Their Names Are Carried (Official Lyric Video)

"Their Names Are Carried" is a song of remembrance for Christians who have suffered persecution, displacement, imprisonment, and death because of their faith. The opening imagery draws attention to violence and loss in Nigeria, while the later verses look back toward the early Church and outward to believers facing persecution around the world. The song holds particular lives within a wider call to remembrance: those whose voices have been silenced are not forgotten by God. Its chorus is both a promise to bear witness and a prayer for the wounded, the grieving, and the weak. Remembering should also move us toward compassionate action: prayer, care for displaced families, and solidarity with people under pressure for their faith. Inspired by Hebrews 13:3 and Revelation 6:9–11, this song asks the Church to carry these names with love and to refuse indifference to their suffering. Scripture behind the song: Hebrews 13:3; Revelation 6:9–11.
