The orange label costs you around $60. Two steps away in the same aisle sits real Champagne from a grand cru village for $22, and nobody ever told you it was there. In this video, I take Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label, the best-selling Champagne in America, and show you seven bottles that give you the same pleasure for less money. Kirkland Signature Champagne from Costco, Veuve Monsigny from Aldi, Nicolas Feuillatte, Piper-Heidsieck, Drappier Carte d'Or, and two Crémants, from Alsace and from Burgundy. For each one, I give you the price, who really makes it, the grapes and the critic scores. You also learn the difference between Champagne and Crémant, what NM and RM mean on a Champagne label, and the word on a Crémant de Bourgogne that tells you it rested three years, like the Veuve. Prices are approximate and change by state and by store. Nobody paid for this video.
