They Called Him Lucky — Shadowed By Rain

They Called Him Lucky — Shadowed By Rain Two best friends. One car accident. Only one comes home. “They Called Him Lucky” tells the story of a survivor living with guilt and missing his best friend every day. His injuries heal, but ordinary moments keep revealing the absence: an empty desk, a familiar song, a message he can no longer send. As the years pass, he grows older than the friend in the photograph—and struggles to enjoy the life they had both expected to share. “He carried the years they had both meant to share, And kept turning round for a friend who wasn’t there.” A song about friendship, grief, survivor’s guilt, and the people we still turn to long after they’re gone.
