CZ: Ve dnech 5.–13. září 2026 uspořádal Arts Management FMK UTB mezinárodní Erasmus+ BIP Summer School „The Future-proof Cultural Institutions“. Do Zlína přivedla 22 studentů a přední odborníky a odbornice z partnerských univerzit a kulturních institucí z Itálie, Portugalska, Slovinska a Finska. Společně hledali odpovědi na otázku, jaké kulturní instituce budoucnosti potřebujeme a jak jejich fungování promění publika, technologie a AI, udržitelnost, participace či nové formy mezioborové spolupráce. Program kombinoval přednášky a diskuze s mezinárodními experty, praktické workshopy, týmovou práci a návštěvy kulturních a kreativních organizací ve Zlíně a Olomouci. EN: From 5 to 13 September 2026, the Arts Management Studio at the Faculty of Multimedia Communications, Tomas Bata University in Zlín, hosted the international Erasmus+ BIP Summer School “The Future-proof Cultural Institutions.” The programme brought to Zlín 22 students, along with leading experts from partner universities and cultural institutions in Italy, Portugal, Slovenia and Finland. Together, they explored what kinds of cultural institutions we will need in the future and how their operation will be transformed by audiences, technology and AI, sustainability, participation and new forms of interdisciplinary collaboration. The programme combined lectures and discussions with international experts, hands-on workshops, teamwork and visits to cultural and creative organisations in Zlín and Olomouc. Students also explored the possibilities of digitisation and motion capture at the UTB Fénix Centre for Digital Education and, working in international teams, developed their own visions of the future of cultural institutions. In this way, the Summer School brought together the long-standing focus of the Arts Management Studio on audience engagement, innovation and the changing social role of cultural institutions with the expertise of leading European specialists and the students’ practical experience. It also strengthened the international network of partners with whom the Studio has long been developing these topics.
