Reaction - Australian Crawl - Beautiful People - From Various Water Sports To Playing Rock 'n' Roll

This is a reaction video to Australian Crawl performing their first single "Beautiful People" on the Australian tv show Countdown in 1979. A strong performance based around the lead vocalist James Reyne. A strong vocalist who enhanced words within a verse. The rhythm section is very tight and hold the group together followed by the rhythm guitar player. The lead guitar highlights the instrumentation by placing some wonderful licks throughout the song. I place this group at the beginnings of the new wave movement with a heavy power pop flare. It is a good song with a fun watch. Check out the plaster casts on James wrists (ouch)! Enjoy ...
