My plan to address lameness, hoof rot and hoof scald in sheep

1. Put the sheep into the pen every week so I can closely examine their feet. 2. Only trim when there are flaps that hold in dirt or the sheep can't walk properly. 3. Address each case of hoof rot / hoof scald with a paste and wrap. Mild cases can be treated with a spray. 4. Figure out how to do proper hoof baths. The sheep need to stay in the bath for at least 15 minutes and then have a space where they can dry their feet for an hour before sending them back to the pasture. Sunday April 21st, 2024 4:30 PM
