In this episode of Armed & Awake, we’re diving into some of the most debated, uncomfortable, and controversial conversations in the Church through a round of biblical hot takes.
From commonly repeated Christian beliefs to statements that sound biblical on the surface, we ask a simple question: Is it biblical truth, or is it bad theology?
This conversation isn’t about creating controversy for the sake of controversy or proving who has the best opinion. It’s about opening God’s Word, challenging our assumptions, and being willing to examine what we believe in light of Scripture.
How much of what we believe comes directly from the Bible, and how much has been shaped by tradition, church culture, personal experience, or things we’ve simply heard repeated over the years?
Some of these takes may challenge you. Others may confirm what you already believe. Either way, our prayer is that this episode encourages you to search the Scriptures for yourself, pursue truth with humility, and keep Jesus at the center of the conversation.
Join us as we discuss biblical truth, theology, church culture, conviction, discernment, and what it looks like to remain grounded in God’s Word—even when the conversation gets uncomfortable.
