The War Within DJ Jessie

What if the parts of yourself you've spent your whole life fighting were never actually your enemies? The War Within is an emotional, powerful drum and bass anthem about facing your shadows, understanding the patterns that have shaped you and finally ending the battle with yourself. Fear, self-doubt, perfectionism, anger, old wounds and coping mechanisms often develop as ways of protecting us. But what once helped us survive can eventually become the very thing holding us back. This track is about recognising those parts of ourselves, understanding why they exist and learning to embrace all of who we are without allowing our past to control our future. Because self-mastery begins by ending the war within. "I'm not my own enemy. Not anymore. I put down my sword. I've had enough of the war within." 🎧 ABOUT DJ JESSIE I'm Jessica Ellen, also known as DJ Jessie.
