കഴിഞ്ഞ നാല് വര്‍ഷത്തിനിടെ രാജ്യത്ത് തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പില്‍ വിജയിച്ച 111 സിറ്റിങ് എംപിമാരും എംഎല്‍എമാരും പാര്‍ട്ടി മാറിയതായി റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട്. അസോസിയേഷന്‍ ഫോര്‍ ഡെമോക്രാറ്റിക് റിഫോംസും നാഷണല്‍ ഇലക്ഷന്‍ വാച്ചും ചേര്‍ന്ന് പുറത്തുവിട്ട പഠന റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ടിലാണ് കൂറുമാറ്റത്തിന്റെ വ്യാപ്തി വ്യക്തമാക്കുന്നത്. 2022 മുതല്‍ 2026 വരെയുള്ള കാലയളവില്‍ നടന്ന പൊതു തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പുകള്‍, നിയമസഭാ തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പുകള്‍, ഉപതെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പുകള്‍ എന്നിവയില്‍ വിജയിച്ച ജനപ്രതിനിധികളുടെ വിവരങ്ങളാണ് പഠനത്തിനായി പരിശോധിച്ചത്. പാര്‍ട്ടി മാറിയ 111 ജനപ്രതിനിധികളില്‍ 26 ലോക്സഭാംഗങ്ങളും ഏഴ് രാജ്യസഭാംഗങ്ങളും 78 നിയമസഭാംഗങ്ങളുമാണ് ഉള്‍പ്പെടുന്നത്. പാര്‍ട്ടി മാറിയ ജനപ്രതിനിധികളില്‍ 26 ശതമാനം പേരും, അതായത് 29 പേരും ബിജെപിയിലാണ് ചേര്‍ന്നത്. ആം ആദ്മി പാര്‍ട്ടിയില്‍ നിന്നുള്ള ഏഴ് രാജ്യസഭാംഗങ്ങളും വിവിധ സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിലെ കോണ്‍ഗ്രസ്, ജനതാദള്‍ യുണൈറ്റഡ്, സമാജ്വാദി പാര്‍ട്ടി, കര്‍ണാടക രാഷ്ട്ര പ്രജാ പാര്‍ട്ടി തുടങ്ങിയ പാര്‍ട്ടികളില്‍ നിന്നുള്ള നിയമസഭാംഗങ്ങളും ബിജെപിയില്‍ ചേര്‍ന്നവരില്‍ ഉള്‍പ്പെടുന്നു. ആം ആദ്മി പാര്‍ട്ടിയുടെ രാജ്യസഭാംഗങ്ങളായ സ്വാതി മലിവാള്‍, രാഘവ് ഛദ്ദ, ഹര്‍ഭജന്‍ സിങ്, അശോക് മിത്തല്‍, സന്ദീപ് കുമാര്‍ പഥക്, വിക്രംജിത് സിങ് സാഹ്നി, രാജീന്ദര്‍ ഗുപ്ത എന്നിവര്‍ ബിജെപിയില്‍ ചേര്‍ന്നതായി റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ടില്‍ പറയുന്നു. A total of 111 sitting MPs and MLAs who had won elections switched political parties over the past four years, according to a report by the Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) and National Election Watch. The study analysed representatives elected in general elections, Assembly elections and by-elections held between 2022 and 2026. Among the 111 representatives who switched parties, 26 were Lok Sabha MPs, seven were Rajya Sabha MPs and 78 were MLAs. The report says 29 of them (26%) joined the BJP. The BJP entrants included seven Rajya Sabha MPs from the Aam Aadmi Party, along with MLAs from parties including the Congress, Janata Dal (United), Samajwadi Party and Karnataka Rashtra Praja Party. The report lists AAP Rajya Sabha MPs Swati Maliwal, Raghav Chadha, Harbhajan Singh, Ashok Mittal, Sandeep Kumar Pathak, Vikramjit Singh Sahney and Rajinder Gupta among those who joined the BJP.
