Jack Ma is a Chinese entrepreneur and the co-founder of Alibaba Group, one of the world’s largest e-commerce and technology conglomerates. Born on September 10, 1964, in Hangzhou, China, he began his career as an English teacher and later became one of the most influential business figures in the world. I started learning English at age 12. Rode his bike daily for 9 years to Hangzhou Hotel to meet foreign tourists. Offered free tour guide services to practice English. Learned directly through conversation, not formal education. Gained exposure to Western culture and ideas. A tourist gave him the name Jack, which he kept.
