Just over two years ago, I did a 100% walkthrough of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I finally get around to doing The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Master Quest, for the Nintendo Gamecube. This was initially going to be for the Nintendo 64DD, titled as "Ura Zelda". Sadly, the 64DD was a commercial failure, and Ura Zelda was never released. Master Quest then came around only as available as a pre-order bonus for Wind Waker in the United States. This is seen as a spiritual successor to Ura Zelda, since this is more or less the same. As of yet, this game can only be played on the Gamecube, but is also available in the 3DS version of Ocarina of Time.
The difference between Ocarina of Time and Master Quest are the dungeons having a different layout, as well as the Gold Skulltulas being moved around. This is also the first version of Ocarina of Time to have the crescent moon symbol removed entirely. Also, since this is played on the Gamecube, the frame rate and graphics are better. There are even more differences with the 3DS version of Master Quest. The entire world is mirrored, and enemies do double damage to Link. Even with the mirrored world, this walkthrough will still be helpful to those who need it.
Since Master Quest's overworld is comepletely the same as Ocarina of Time's, I'll be uploading longer parts. That is due to me already having done a 100% walkthrough of Ocarina of Time. I'll also be uploading the dungeons and temples in one part, so it'll be easier for viewers to navigate to what they want to see. As with my Ocarina of Time walkthrough, this walkthrough can be used for Master Quest on the 3DS version. Only difference will be is the entire world is mirrored, as well as enemies dealing double damage, which isn't too hard.
In this part, I gather rupees to buy the Shield and Deku Stick Upgrade. I find the Kokiri Sword along the way as well, and enter the first dungeon in the game.
