But things don't exactly go according to plan. After arriving in Liberty City to reunite with his cousin Roman, Niko quickly gets pulled into a dangerous world of criminals, debt, gangs, corruption and betrayal. As the story progresses, he'll have to make difficult choices while trying to survive in one of Rockstar's most realistic and memorable open worlds. GTA IV is a darker and more grounded GTA experience compared to the later games — with an incredible story, memorable characters, realistic physics and the massive city of Liberty City to explore.
