Amtrak ALC-42's on the Coast Starlight and Reversed Surfliner Sets

[4K] Amtrak train action from Santa Barbara, CA in April 2023. Got my first shots of Amtrak's ALC-42 engines in action leading the Coast Starlight. The P42's dropped quick on the Starlight, rare to even see one leading as of now. Caught ALC-42 #320 leading with a K5LAM horn... bout the only interesting thing on a Charger engine these days. I'm definitely not a fan of the Siemens Charger locomotive takeover occurring, replacing the P42DC fleet. An engine that blows smoke, rumbles in Run 8, is dirty and grimy, has a real bell, is a thing of the past now... Grew up watching these P40/P42DC's in action, sucks to see them go. Thanks for Watching! AmtrakCal462
