Genesis 1-2

This sermon inaugurates a series exploring the presence of Jesus throughout the Old Testament, arguing that Christ is central to every chapter from Genesis to Revelation. The speaker analyzes Genesis 1 and 2 to demonstrate how creation, the Sabbath rest, the tree of life, and the union of Adam and Eve serve as prophetic shadows and types pointing to the person and work of Christ. Key theological themes include Jesus as the agent of creation, the fulfillment of spiritual rest, and the establishment of the church as His bride through His sacrificial death. The tone is pastoral and instructional, aiming to illuminate Scripture for believers and invite others to find new life in Him. The message emphasizes that the entire Bible testifies to Christ, offering a holistic view of redemption history.
