Elektron Digitone 2 Custom Firmware: Machinedrum & Monomachine Engines, Samples | Live IDM Jam

Live IDM/Ambient hardware jam performed on Elektron Digitone 2 using a game-changing custom firmware. This track is completely made on Elektron Digitone 2. No FX were applied in post. Huge shout out to @de_patterning for creating this incredible custom firmware mod! It completely transforms the Digitone II by unlocking sample loading and adding iconic legacy engines from the legendary Elektron Machinedrum and Elektron Monomachine. For this performance, I’ve loaded classic Roland TR-808 samples combined with organic bird calls/field recordings to build deeply textured, glitchy electronic soundscapes. Pure dawless synthesis and sound design directly from the machine. If you enjoy hardware electronic music and synth hacking, make sure to subscribe for more live sessions!
